Chortkover Rebbe, R’ Duvid Moshe Friedman zt”l would say: “'ויקהל משה את כל עדת בני ישראל ויאמר אליהם' - Moshe Rabbeinu gathered together the entire Congregation of Bnei Yisroel and said to them: ‘These are the things which Hashem has commanded you to do.’ Every Jew approaches a mitzvah with his own thoughts and intentions, according to his intellect and understanding. Yet, the physical performance of the mitzvah is carried out in the same manner by all. Moshe was able to assemble all the Jews in true unity because the performance of mitzvos is common to all Jews, irrespective of other differences.”
