R’ Shimon Schwab zt”l ( Mayan Bais Hashoeva) would say: “'ומשה בן שמונים שנה ... בדברם אל פרעה' - Why does the Torah need to tell us Moshe and Aharon’s ages? The fact that they spoke to Pharaoh shows that his decrees don’t last. Eighty years earlier, Pharaoh ordered all boys thrown into the river - then Moshe was born. Three years before that, he demanded they kill all boys - then Aharon was born. After all his attempts to erase them, they stand before him, proving that while human plans rise and fall, only Hashem’s plans truly endure.”
A Wise Man would say: “The reason I talk to myself is because I’m the only person whose answers I will accept.”
