The Ohr HaChaim HaKadosh zt”l asks why the Torah first says that the Bnei Yisroel entered the Midbar Sinai before detailing how they had traveled from Refidim to the foot of Har Sinai? He beautifully explains that since the time of creation, Hashem, the Torah, and the entire world stretching from the spiritual realms down to the physical elements on earth itself, waited in anticipation for this very moment, and in fact for every waking moment since the time of creation, each and every component of the world anxiously asked Hashem when His children will come to Har Sinai to receive the Torah? When, at last, the Bnei Yisroel arrived at the foot of the mountain, Hashem did not waste another second and it was then and only then that the Torah revealed the details of how they got there! As we approach this Shabbos of Kabbolas HaTorah, it is the unity and achdus of Klal Yisroel that will bring us one step closer to the ultimate joy and celebration of Moshiach - "Aiyn Simcha K'simchas HaTorah"!
